New: Source Traceability for Every Answer
Every AI-generated answer now shows exactly where it came from — which document, which section, and how relevant the source is. No more black-box answers.

Why source traceability matters
When AI drafts an answer to a security question, the first thing a reviewer asks is: "Where did this come from?" Without knowing the source, you can't trust the answer — and you end up manually verifying everything anyway.
With source traceability, every answer now links back to the exact documents and sections in your knowledge base that were used to generate it. You see the document name, the specific section, and a relevance score showing how closely the source matches the question.
How it works
When you process a questionnaire, each answer displays a Sources panel showing the knowledge base documents that contributed to the response. Each source shows:
- Document name — e.g. "CloudFlow Security Whitepaper.docx"
- Relevance score — a percentage showing how closely the source matches
- Section reference — the specific paragraph or chapter, e.g. "§ 3.3 Data Residency"

Combined with confidence scoring
Source traceability works hand-in-hand with confidence scoring. A 100% confidence answer backed by two highly relevant sources? Approve it instantly. A 70% answer with lower relevance sources? That's your signal to review and edit. Together, these features let you focus your time where it matters most.
